Baltimore, MD – Mark Edelson issued the following statement following the reporting of Democratic Primary Election Day, Early Voting, and Mail-In-Ballot results:

“I am honored and humbled by the support that we have received from every corner of District 46. This campaign has always been about making sure that every resident and every neighborhood has the opportunity to achieve success,” said Edelson. “I want to dedicate this victory to my parents, who sacrificed everything to bring my sister and me to America, in search of a better future, and in pursuit of our American dream. In particular I want to dedicate this to my biggest supporter, my mother, the late Glenda Edelson, who absolutely loved Baltimore and who I know is smiling on all of us right now from heaven. I know, deep in my heart, that Baltimore’s best days are ahead of her, and the results of this election are a testament to that sentiment.”

“I cannot wait to get to work, serving the residents of District 46, as a part of Team 46 alongside Senate President Bill Ferguson and Delegates Luke Clippinger and Robbyn Lewis.”

The Edelson campaign congratulates its staff and consulting team on a well-deserved victory and a strong campaign from start to finish:
